‘Wizkid is my brother for life’ – American singer Chris Brown declares
Popular American singer Chris Brown has stated that he will never forget Nigerian colleague, Wizkid, for the rest of his life.
In an online post shared by Lindsay Lohan’s “Luthortv” channel, Brown described Wizkid as his “brother for life,” attributing their close bond to Wizkid’s generous actions towards him in the past.
In detailing his journey, Chris Brown disclosed that his career in music has been predominantly centered in the United States, with his first venture into the UK occurring only after Wizkid extended an invitation for him to perform at his O2 arena concert in 2021.
He further mentioned that Wizkid generously covered his expenses, leaving him astounded by his profound affection.
“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America and had not gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his 02 Arena concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life.”
It was gathered that Brown was prohibited from entering the UK in 2009 following his conviction for assault against his former girlfriend, Rihanna.
According to reports from 2010, the UK authorities cited his criminal conviction as the reason for his refusal of entrance. This experience had a lasting influence on his professional talents.
