Village people don’t even have your time; Yul Edochie tells Nigerians to be responsible for their lives
Actor Yul Edochie has urged Nigerians to take charge of their own lives, challenging the widespread belief that “village people” are the reason for their lack of progress.
He pointed out that often, Nigerians are their own biggest barriers, asserting that blaming village people is simply a convenient excuse.
Yul highlighted that those in the villages are also working hard to better their own situations and are not preoccupied with hindering others.
He further emphasized the significance of self-exploration and understanding one’s heritage.
He encouraged individuals to visit their villages, delve into their backgrounds, and seek answers about their lives.
Yul reminded everyone that relying solely on the church won’t resolve all issues; it’s essential for individuals to take initiative in enhancing their own circumstances.
He wrote;
“Nobody hold you for village. Village people don’t even have your time.
“They’re busy trying to make headway in their own lives. Na you hold yourself.
“Go home, go traditional and ask questions about your life. Know who you are, where you come from and where you should be heading to. Church doesn’t solve everything.”
