The younger brother of Edison Ehie, who served as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State, has reportedly been k*lled.
Edison Ehie met a tragic end on Monday when he was sh0t during the assault on the Ahoada East Council Secretariat.
The incident came to light as a member of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) issued a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, the deceased was fatally sh0t amidst the att@ck, leaving behind his wife and their newborn baby.
Recall that the crisis in Rivers State snowballed into violence on Monday leading to the k!lling of a brother to Edison Ehie, the father of a newly elected councillor, and about three others.
Additionally, three local government secretariats were set ablaze by suspected thugs just hours after the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, ordered the withdrawal of the police officers stationed at the council premises.
The Rivers State PDP loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, described the LG poll on October 6th as an exercise in futility, vowing to challenge it in court.
Despite the opposition to the election, Fubara proceeded to swear in the newly elected council chairmen at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
