Rap will never die – Drake
Popular Canadian rapper Drake has responded to the contentious assertion that rap music is “dead.”
The artist behind the hit “Rich Baby Daddy” firmly stated that, despite the rumors, rap will always endure.
He made this declaration during a recent conversation with well-known American streamer Adin Ross.
“Rap is dead,” Ross declared.
“It’ll never die. It was a weird NBA season. New season starts in 5 days,” Drake rebuffed.
Months ago, Nigerian afrobeats singer, Wizkid, sparked controversy after claiming during an interview on an international platform that “rap us dead.”
His claim earned backlash, with rappers such as Terry Tharapman, Zoro, Ladipoe and many others all replying him.
