Nollywood legend RMD claims having only one wife is unfair

Veteran Nollywood star, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), has expressed his views on polygamy.

During a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, he remarked on the inequity of being wedded to only one woman when discussing the women who are attracted to him.

Affirming his endorsement of polygamy, RMD shared that his father had five wives.

The host Bae U Barbie asked: “You are married to only one woman. Do you think that is fair? Do you have an idea of how many women [who] want you?”

RMD replied:

“I don’t but I think it is unfair to be married to just one woman. My father had five [wives].”

RMD is married to television personality Jumobi Adegbesan. The couple got married after he lost his first wife, talk show host May Ellen ‘MEE’ Mofe-Damijo in 1996.
