Nollywood Actor Ayobami Olabiyi is dead
Popular Nollywood actor Otunba Ayobami Olabiyi, also known as Bobo B, has passed away.
He reportedly d!ed in Ibadan, Oyo state, following a brief illness.
Until his passing, Olabiyi served as the former governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Oyo state and is currently the national secretary of the organization.
According to reports, Olabiyi, who was scheduled to appear on a film set in Oyo last month, was unable to attend due to his declining health.
He was admitted to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State, where he later passed away.
Bose Akinola, the governor of TAMPAN in Oyo state, announced his passing.
Her statement reads: “I have a directive of the Oyo state TAMPAN governor, Her Excellency Yeye Bose Akinola to announce the death of our TAMPAN national general secretary, Chief Alhaji Musadshir Ayobami Olabiyi ‘Bobo B. May God give his family and the entire TAMPAN members globally the fortitude to bear the loss. Insha Allah, Amen.”
