Gateway United has terminated the appointment of their head coach, Samson Omiponle, according to the Daily Post.
The management of the club has confirmed Omiponle’s departure.
The Abeokuta club has stated that the termination of the head coach’s contract is effective immediately.
Gateway United is currently seeking a new tactical expert as the 2024-25 Nigeria National League (NNL) season is about to begin.
They will be competing in the Southern Conference Group A for the upcoming season.
The new campaign is set to kick off on Saturday, November 30.
