Gian Piero Gasperini’s team defeated the Ukrainians 3-0 in their second matchday.
Lookman set up Berat Djimsiti for the opening goal just 21 minutes into the match.
The Nigeria international then doubled Atalanta’s lead just before halftime.
The 26-year-old entered the history books as the second Atalanta player to register a goal and assist in a Champions League game.
Zapata achieved the feat twice during his stint with the Bergamo club.
The 33-year-old achieved the feat for the first time against Danish club, FC Midtjylland in October 2020.
The former Napoli striker repeated it against Manchester United in November 2021.
