Popular American actor and musician Jamie Foxx has shared details about his struggle with a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.
During a conversation about his hospitalization in 2023, Foxx revealed this information.
In a recent Netflix special, the 56-year-old star recounted how he endured a severe headache and ended up “blacking out for 20 days.”
He mentioned that he was taken to Piedmont Hospital, where he experienced a brain bleed that ultimately caused the stroke.
“It is a mystery. We still don’t know exactly what exactly happened to me.
“On April 11 2023, I had a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin, but I realised quickly that your boys don’t know what to do when you are in a medical emergency.
“Before I could get the aspirin I went out. And i do not remember 20 days.”
Foxx said he found himself in a wheelchair and unable to walk after he woke from the coma.
