It’s difficult to survive in Nigeria – Tiwa Savage
Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has attributed the vast number of entertainers emerging from Nigeria to the harsh realities of poverty.
According to her, the challenging conditions in the country are pushing young individuals to uncover their talents.
In an episode of ‘Shopping The Sneakers’ podcast, Savage candidly shared her views on life in Nigeria, describing it as difficult.
She said, “When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”
Nigeria boasts the largest film, music, comedy, and fashion industries in Africa, positioning it as the second-largest movie industry in the world behind only Nollywood.
