‘It’s been three good years of constant bullying, intimidation, and blackmail’ – IVD calls out late wife’s sister over threat to life and for denying him access to his kids
Nigerian celebrity car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, has publicly addressed his late wife Bimbo’s sister, Mama Jazz.
In a recent Instagram post, he expressed that he has endured three long years of bullying, harassment, intimidation, emotional manipulation, and torment from her, all while remaining silent. He emphasized his desire for justice for his late wife, but lamented that his former sister-in-law has taken him to numerous courts, police stations, and even prisons for actions he insists are innocent.
Ogbonna disclosed that she has kept his children away from him for three years, denying him any access. He shared how he has tried to remain calm and composed, even feeling guilty, all in the hope of seeing his kids, yet she seems intent on making his life difficult. He urged his sister-in-law to reveal any wrongdoing on his part, admitting that he feels utterly drained and defeated.
Captioning the post on Instagram he wrote: “mamajazzz, What did I, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, Ever Do to you That will Warrant you To Want To Take My Life? It’s Been 3 Good Years Of Constant Bully, Harassment, Intimidation, Emotional Blackmail, And torture, Yet I have been Quiet. We All Want Justice; You have Dragged Me to Different Law courts, Different Police Stations, And Prisons For Doing Absolutely Nothing; why do you want to Take Laws Into Your Hands? You have Held My Lovely Kids For 3 Years Now And Denied Me Access. I have played Weak Cool And Even Guilty Just Because Of My Kids, Yet You Are After My Life, Please I want you to Tell the World what I Ever Did, you have not provided a single evidence, linking me to any D€@th or domestic violence, all you do is fabricate lies and keep paying people to lie on my image.
Now you have paid my friend to come take my own life, how deep can you be. I am tired
Exhausted and weak, at this point all I have is God.
Please allow me to move on and pick up the pieces of my life; give me a little chance and space to at least mourn the mother of my children. I don’t even know where she was buried, let me honor her at least for the last time.
Enough is enough”.
IVD experienced the tragic loss of his wife, Bimbo, on October 15, 2022, following a series of alleged incidents of domestic violence.
In the aftermath, the father of five found himself embroiled in various controversies, facing accusations ranging from the murder of his wife to claims of having multiple affairs and even being linked to a shooting incident at the Cubana club, among other allegations.
Bimbo’s older sister, known as Mama Jazz, directly accused IVD of being responsible for the young mother’s untimely death.
Reflecting on his wife’s passing, IVD mentioned that she often resorted to violence during their arguments, while maintaining a different persona in public.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the troubled father of four shared that he had been cut off from his children, expressing deep sorrow over not being able to see his daughters. He even threatened to take his own life if he couldn’t regain access to them, stating that the loss of both his wife and children had left him feeling utterly hollow, as they were the center of his universe.
