Nollywood actor-turned-politician Desmond Elliot has finally spoken about being g@y.
Elliot has recently been under scrutiny for being labeled among the top Nigerian celebrities accused of engaging in homosexuality.
This list, which includes the names of many esteemed figures in the country, has ignited a passionate response from the public.
However, in a viral interview piece, Elliot vehemently defended himself, calling the accusations baseless. He emphasized that his priorities were centered on more significant issues than engaging with unfounded rumors.
He said: “Why would I respond to allegations made against me when it did not reduce or increase my life? Secondly, it is an opinion that is being conceived. And I don’t think it is necessary for me to come out and say it’s true or not true; as long as I’m affecting people positively, I’m good. So let me state it very clearly that I am straight.”
