Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has announced his intention to be present at the 90th birthday celebration of Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church.
When Bishop Oyedepo reaches the age of 90, Obasanjo will be 107 years old.
Obasanjo shared his thoughts during Bishop Oyedepo’s 70th birthday celebration at the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, on Friday.
Addressing Living Faith members, Obasanjo said: “Today you are joining the club of Septuagenarians; from Septuagenarian, you will become Octogenarian, and I will be here. From Octogenarian, you will become Nonagenarian, and I will be here.
“After that, I will leave you alone, and God will be with you.”
Reflecting on his own connection to Ota and Oyedepo’s contribution to the area, Obasanjo recounted his experience with farming in Ota, which began in 1979.
