Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has stepped in to provide financial assistance to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repair technician from Alaba Market who claimed a familial connection to the well-known Celebrity Barman, Cubana Chief Priest.
This gesture comes amidst Burna Boy’s ongoing conflict with Cubana Chief Priest, which has captured considerable public interest.
Previously, Burna Boy shared a video featuring Okechukwu, highlighting his struggles to make a living, and pledged to give him $30,000 to help improve his situation.
Okechukwu has since shared his intentions to use the money to establish a shop and promised to keep Burna Boy updated on his progress.

In an Instagram video, Okechukwu expressed his heartfelt thanks, acknowledging Burna Boy for helping him rise above poverty. He urged fellow Nigerians to join him in celebrating the artist’s kindness, stating, “God is real, Odogwu #burnaboygram, God has used you to pull me out from poverty. I will be forever grateful. Please, people, help me thank him for me.”
