‘I spent N12 million on you and never gained a kobo’ – Paulo Okoye with proof blasts singer Spyro
Music executive and show promoter Paulo Okoye has responded to rising artist Spyro’s recent comments.
In an interview with Echo Room, Spyro recounted his struggles while signed to Okoye’s record label, revealing that he had to take out a loan to support himself, as he did not earn anything during his time with the label.
He accused Paulo of being aware of his difficulties but failing to take action, suggesting that he lacked the skills to effectively manage a record label. Despite this, Spyro acknowledged that Paulo, who is romantically linked to actress Iyabo Ojo, is a kind individual and excels in the entertainment industry, though he struggles with the business side of things.
In response to these allegations, Paulo took to his Instagram story to refute Spyro’s statements, sharing documentation of his financial support for the artist. He claimed to have invested N12 million in Spyro without receiving any return on that investment.
