Drake viciously trolled on social media as he shows of new haircut

Canadian rapper, singer, Drake unveiled a fresh look on social media Sunday, only to face backlash and criticism for the change.

The 38-year-old artist, who hinted at potential touring in Australia, looked dapper as he showcased his new hairstyle in an Instagram Stories photo, adorned with dollar signs.

This move followed a particularly harsh backlash for posting a selfie with his hair styled in pigtails and barrettes on Instagram Stories Tuesday, November 12.

A user with the X account titled “Feared Buck” reposted the photo, captioning it “Drake shows off his new hairstyle in new selfie on IG.”

Feedback on the new hairstyle was swift and intense, with commenters offering their opinions.

‘Incoming “he’s really pushing 40” comments,’ warned one X user.

“Didn’t he just get braids last week?” another questioned.

One person offered some psychoanalysis, writing, ‘People who go through this many stages in such a short time frame show clears signs of an identity crisis.’

‘Na grew his hair out for years just to chop it in less than a year of getting braids. Somebody help this na.’

Others commented on the Family Matters artist’s pursed lips, referring to them as ‘duck lips.’
