Donald Trump learns to make McDonald’s fries during campaign stop in Pennsylvania
Former U.S. President Donald Trump traded the world of politics for a stint at McDonald’s on the campaign trail, eager to learn the secrets of making McDonald’s fries during a visit in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.
As part of his 2024 campaign strategy, Trump took a hands-on approach, joining McDonald’s employees at the counter to delve into the culinary process that makes the fast food chain’s renowned fries.

During his visit, Trump seized the chance to engage with the locals, leaning over the fryer and initiating conversations with the staff about their work experiences and their feelings towards their employment. As he awaited the fries to reach their perfect crispiness, Trump continued these discussions, exploring the work culture and the relationship between the employees and the management.
Trump also announced his plans to attend a Pittsburgh Steelers game later that day, casually requesting ideas on how to perfect the fry-making process. Dressed suitably for the event in a McDonald’s apron over his signature white shirt and red tie, Trump even distributed food to drive-thru customers, engaging in light conversation as he handed up the fast-food joint’s most popular products.
During his McDonald’s visit, the former president also took a shot at Vice President Kamala Harris, stating, “I’ve now worked 15 minutes more at the restaurant than the VP,” referring to Harris’ previous claim of working at McDonald’s, which Trump dismissed as false, branding her “Lyin’ Kamala.”
