Asake named most streamed Nigerian artiste on Spotify

Singer Asake has been recognized as the most streamed Nigerian artist on Spotify for 2024.

This announcement was made on Wednesday as part of Spotify’s annual recap, known as ‘Wrapped’, which highlights listeners’ musical preferences for the year.

His albums, including ‘Work of Art’, ‘Lungu Boy’, and ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’, have also taken the lead as the most-streamed Nigerian albums of 2024.

In addition, Young Jonn’s ‘Jiggy Forever’ has been named the most-streamed album of the year, while Burna Boy has been celebrated as Nigeria’s most-exported artist and the only Nigerian to feature in the UK’s top 100.
