‘Allow me do my music in peace’ – Peter Okoye tells twin brother Paul, following song theft accusation
Popular singer and half of the duo P-Square, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, has refuted the allegations of song theft leveled against him by his twin brother and former bandmate, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy.
Rudeboy has recently accused Mr. P, along with their former producer, Vampire, of stealing his songs.
He claimed that he wrote and sang a song titled ‘Winning,’ which was supposed to be released with his album next year. To his surprise, Mr P released the same song by the same producer.
In response to these allegations, Mr. P defended himself, stating that he, along with Calypso60, co-wrote and composed the song. He argued that it was impossible for him to steal his own work, as his brother had claimed.
He pleaded with his brother to allow him to focus on his music and to stop the spread of negativity.
In an Instagram post, Mr P wrote, “Person no dey thief him own Property! It is well! Thank you, @iam_vampire_official, for the clarification.
“For the record, ‘Winning’ was written and composed by @calypso60music and myself. Produced by @iam_vampire_official and co-produced by @goldswarm.
“They all deserve their Credit. And I appreciate them.
