Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has shared a deeply personal and emotional video on her Instagram page, unveiling her recent battle with a life-threatening illness.
The actress, who has been a beloved figure in Nigeria for decades, has opened up about her harrowing journey, leaving her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry stunned.
In the video, Omotola shares her story of being rushed to the emergency room multiple times before finally undergoing surgery to remove her gallbladder. She vividly describes the intense stomach pain she suffered and the extensive series of medical tests she had to endure before the operation.
“Have you been told by the doctor that there’s nothing more we can do at this time? And you still feel like you are dying,” Omotola said in the video, reflecting on her experience.
The actress went on to explain that she spent the night vomiting and was immediately taken to the hospital the next morning, where she underwent a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. It was then that the doctor informed her that she needed to have the surgery to remove her gallbladder.
“The fight for my life began,” Omotola said, describing the moment she received the news.
