Arrested gospel singer’s father pleads for his release
Timilehin Ajayi’s father, the gospel singer recently arrested in connection with the horrific murder of corps member Salome Adaidu, is now appealing for his son’s freedom.
Ajayi was discovered with Salome’s severed head in a plastic bag and has since been detained by a Nasarawa State High Court.
This shocking event reportedly took place in Agwan Sarki, a community close to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
As Salome’s family mourns their loss, Ajayi’s father has reached out to the media, expressing his desire for his son’s release during an interview with Channels Television.

“I want government to help me so that the matter is settled. I want them to help me beg so that he is released” He said.
Unlike the father, the mother said she has left everything for government to handle.
”If it was one of my daughters they did that to, how would I feel?” She asked.
“So government can do anything they want to do. Everything is in their hands.” She concluded.
Ajayi, who markets himself as a motivational speaker on TikTok, admitted to the crime during his interrogation.
In a video that has since gone viral, he shared that he had been in a relationship with Adaidu for a year prior to her tragic death.
He claimed that a fierce argument escalated into violence when Adaidu allegedly attempted to stab him with a knife.
Ajayi, who gained some fame with his 2020 album God of the Earth, revealed that the remainder of Adaidu’s body was located at his home.
Her remains have now been laid to rest, as shown in another viral video featuring a group of men conducting the burial, accompanied by the sounds of sorrowful wails in the background.
