After a lengthy and contentious eight-year legal battle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally reached a divorce agreement.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the former couple completed the divorce documents on Monday, December 30.
However, the dispute regarding a French chateau they previously shared remains unresolved.
“Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,” Divorce Lawyer James Simon, said.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt.
“She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
Jolie initiated the divorce process in September 2016, two years after their wedding.
Before their marriage, the pair had been in a relationship for a decade.
