Angelina Jolie comment on motherhood, reveals which child is the most private
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has shared that her favorite role is that of a mother to her six children.
The veteran actress known for her humanitarian efforts plays the titular character in her new movie Maria, a film about Maria Callas, one of the most influential opera singers of the 20th century.
In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Jolie was asked if there’s anything in her life that compares to Callas’ passion for singing, and she replied, “Motherhood.”
“It’s my happiness. You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters,” she stated.
Jolie is the mother of six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, nearly 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and the 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
She shares all six children with her estranged ex-husband, fellow Hollywood veteran, Brad Pitt.
Discussing her children and her own fame, Jolie revealed that none of her children wish to pursue acting following their parents’ highly publicized relationship.
“They are quite private,” she said, adding that daughter Shiloh is the “extremely private” one.
Explaining further, Jolie added: “They weren’t born with privacy so I hope they can have that as they get older.”
