Diddy celebrates his 55th birthday behind bars with sad prison meal
Music mogul Diddy is set to celebrate his 55th birthday today at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center with a modest meal.
The rapper, currently awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, is also scheduled to appear in federal court on Monday.
According to the New York Post, Diddy will have the option to choose between cheese pizza, salad, or pasta for lunch today.
The menu at the prison includes these items, which were seized by federal agents last week as part of a ‘multi-agency’ operation. Despite the high-profile nature of his case, the authorities insist that this operation is unrelated.
Additionally, Diddy will be able to enjoy a ‘breakfast cake’ and potatoes. However, coffee is not available until the weekend, in accordance with the prison’s rules.
Diddy has maintained his innocence, claiming that the ‘freak off’ parties he is accused of organizing were all consensual. However, dozens of women have come forward to contradict this claim, alleging that the parties were not consensual.
He has also been accused by grand jury witnesses of abusing young stars, although these claims have not been substantiated.
Last week, witness Courtney Burgess came forward with allegations that he had witnessed tapes of Diddy allegedly mistreating at least eight celebrities.
He alleges that these videos were stored on a flash drive belonging to Diddy’s ex-partner, the late Kim Porter, who reportedly obtained the footage from concealed cameras in the rapper’s residence.
Burgess appeared on NewsNation’s Banfield to share his observations.
It is currently unclear whether the grand jury has viewed the footage or merely received information about it.
The rapper’s family, including his sons, remain unwavering in their support of him, insisting that he is being unfairly targeted by prosecutors with biases.
