The Recording Academy has unveiled the nominees for the 67th Grammys, with the Best African Music Performance category fully booked by Nigerian artists.
American artist Chris Brown, the lone non-Nigerian in the category, secured a spot with his song featuring Nigerian artists Davido and Lojay.
The nominations were announced by the organizers on Friday, November 8.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian duo Rema and Tems have been nominated for the Best Global Music Album category.

They will compete against Matt B and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s ‘Alkebulan II’, Ciro Hurtado’s ‘Paisajes’, and Antonio Rey’s ‘Historias De Un Flamenco’.
Tems also bagged a nomination in the Best R&B Song category as her song ‘Burning’ made the cut.
Only women were nominated in the Best R&B Song category at this year’s Grammys.
Tems will face tough competition from ‘After Hours’ by Kehlani, Coco Jones’ ‘Here We Go (Uh Oh)’, Muni Long’s ‘Ruined Me’, and ‘Saturn’ by SZA.
