67th Grammys: Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Jimmy Carter breaks records
Beyoncé has now become the most-nominated artist in Grammy history, with an impressive 99 nominations.
This milestone was reached after she secured 11 nominations at the 67th Grammys, pushing her record-breaking tally to a new high.
In addition, Beyoncé leads the pack in nominations for this year’s Grammys, with a total of eleven nominations, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
She is followed by Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone who received seven nominations each, and Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan with six nominations each.
Taylor Swift has made history by breaking the record for the most ‘Album of the Year’ nominations among female artists in Grammy history, with a total of seven.
She surpassed Barbra Streisand after her album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ earned a nomination in the Album of the Year category at this year’s Grammys, bringing her tally to seven in the category.
Taylor Swift stands as the second most-nominated female artist in Grammy history, with an impressive tally of 58 nominations.
Meanwhile, former American President, Jimmy Carter has earned a Grammy nomination at age 100.
The audio version of his autobiography, ‘A Full Life: Reflections At Ninety’, was nominated in the Best Spoken Word Album category at this year’s Grammys.
Carter has previously won the category three times.
