’45 days in prison is enough’, Bobrisky says as he calls on Burna Boy to release Speed Darlington
Controversial figure Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has reached out to singer Burna Boy, urging him to help free his fellow artist, Speed Darlington.
As a reminder, Speed Darlington was taken into custody after he implied that Burna Boy was involved in a questionable relationship with the troubled American music executive Diddy, allegedly to enhance his chances of winning a Grammy.
The ongoing detention of Darlington, which persists despite a court ruling for his release, has sparked a variety of reactions across social media and beyond.
In a show of support for the rapper, socialite Bobrisky has called on Burna Boy to take action, emphasizing that 45 days in jail is more than enough punishment.
On his Instagram Story, Bobrisky expressed his thoughts.
“I just wanna mind my business this year and stay away from anything that connects with Nigerian celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me from thinking of many things.
“Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive.”
