2-year-old boy found abandoned at a dump site in Lagos

A toddler, just 2 years old, was discovered abandoned at a dump site in the Iganmu region of Lagos State.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, shared this information in a post on his X account on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

The child was located at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite on Monday night and has since been taken to a nearby police station. Authorities are now appealing to the public for help in locating the boy’s family.

“Found child: This boy of about two years old was found last night at the Sari Iganmu dump site by a Good Samaritan and brought to the station. Kindly share to enable him to reunite with his family,” he wrote.
